What is Team Prodigy WC?
TEAM PRODIGY WC is a new program for wrestlers that are committed to the process and style of wrestling taught at PWA. Wrestlers in TEAM PRODIGY will attend Team member only practices that build upon one another throughout the season. For that reason, two nights a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, TEAM PRODIGY Training will not allow drop-ins on certain nights so the focus is directly on its team members and building their success. What make Team Prodigy different?
Most clubs allow drop-ins every night. This makes it difficult to build on the technique, drills, and strategy we teach each night. Our focus is totally on those wrestlers who have committed to train at Prodigy at practices on Mondays and Thursdays. So we will not offer drop-ins on Mondays and Thursdays so we can focus solely on our athletes during that time. Why can't wrestlers drop-in for practices?
Wrestlers not on Team Prodigy can drop in for hard, intense practices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Team Prodigy Wrestlers will be encouraged to attend on those nights as well, where we will emphasize hard drilling, live wrestling, and conditioning along with some technique. Drop-Ins are great for wrestlers to get good, solid workouts with those who attend the club. There are some drawbacks from allowing drop-ins, such as:
