Malachi Hundley (104, Tipp City) and Liam Haines (172, Middletown) both came home with championships from Elder's 41st Annual Chris Herman Junior High Invitational. Sending just 7 wrestlers on their new junior high club team, Prodigy placed 5 out of the 7 for the tournament, placing the team 8th out of 13.
Also placing for Prodigy was Layne Smith took 4th place (86, Kettering), Brody Schmuelling took 3rd place (116, Mother Teresa), and Colin Berger took 4th place (150, Fairfield). Logan Tebo (110, Beavercreek) and Oliver Taylor (150, Valley View) also represented Prodigy. Great job to all of the wrestlers for their hard work and being willing to step on the line to compete. Keep working and keep believing. The Prodigy Junior High Club Team will next be competing at the Best of the Midwest Tournament at Graham High School on January 11th.
