That's a wrap on the 2024-25 season. It has been an honor coaching a great group of wrestlers at Prodigy this season. Seeing the success from their hard work is always a great thing and it also hurts when goals aren't reached. Both can be learned from to go into next season. Congratulations to our 7 OAC Grade School State placers, led by our state finalists Tytus Frahm (D2, 65, Springboro) and David Arens (D3, 65, Monroe). These two wrestlers put the time and hard work in. What a great weekend for both of these wrestlers as they battled to get to the finals! On a side note, this was the first time David Arens has ever placed at the state tournament, and he made it count with his runner-up finish! Prodigy also had strong finishes by Kolton Ross (D4, 95, Mason) taking 4th, Jackson Burton (D2, 65, Lakota East) earning 6th, Davide Keirn (D4, 110, Carroll) earning 6th, Kamden Hunter (D4, 90, Middletown) taking 7th, and Kolby Williams (D4, 75, Monroe) finishing 8th. I am so proud of all of our wrestlers as they had the courage to step on the line and put it all on the line to battle with the best of Ohio. So much improvement has been made in their wrestling and I hope they see that, whatever their outcome was. They represented themselves, their parents, their club, their schools, and their coaches so well and that is all that we ever ask. Congrats to everyone on a great season! Now, we refocus and start working for our goals for next season!
