Malachi Hundley (104, Tipp City) and Liam Haines (172, Middletown) both came home with championships from Elder's 41st Annual Chris Herman Junior High Invitational. Sending just 7 wrestlers on their new junior high club team, Prodigy placed 5 out of the 7 for the tournament, placing the team 8th out of 13.
Also placing for Prodigy was Layne Smith took 4th place (86, Kettering), Brody Schmuelling took 3rd place (116, Mother Teresa), and Colin Berger took 4th place (150, Fairfield). Logan Tebo (110, Beavercreek) and Oliver Taylor (150, Valley View) also represented Prodigy. Great job to all of the wrestlers for their hard work and being willing to step on the line to compete. Keep working and keep believing. The Prodigy Junior High Club Team will next be competing at the Best of the Midwest Tournament at Graham High School on January 11th. Rush Landis (10u, 77, Springboro), Malachi Hundley (MS, 103, Tipp City), Roman Lowe (67, Springboro), and Sophia Canan (G10U, 67, Aranum) all walked away as Bluegrass National Champs.

Keep grinding and keep improving! Tytus Frahm, Springboro, toed the line the Tyrant Junior Ironman, a national level tournament, this weekend. Tytus earned a runner-up finish in the 8u 68 pound division. Awesome showing as he went against some of the best in the nation.
Vince Black, 12u 110 pound, of Beavercreek, wrestled a great tournament, taking 4th place. So proud of our wrestlers taking on some of the best wrestlers around. Trust the process, keep working, and keep pushing to compete with the best! Rush Landis is going to have a BEAR of a season! He started off his season as champion in, not one, but two brackets at the Nuway The Bear in Gatlinburg, TN! Rush won the 9u 72 pound championship and the 9u 78 pound championship winning 7 matches in dominant fashion. Great Job, Rush! Keep Grinding!
